FREELANCERS
We’re always happy to hear from professional editorial and design staff. Please send us your CV, together with a summary of your background and client list. Unfortunately, we cannot return work that has been sent to us on an unsolicited basis.

We do keep an address book of potential freelancers, and we will add your name to it if your work is of interest. By all means, follow up your initial enquiry — but by e-mail only, please. We will contact you if we have anything suitable.

STUDENTS
Every now and then we employ students in our editorial and design departments. These vacancies are not advertised, but are filled from applications received throughout the year.

Students wishing to apply for such a post should do so in writing please, enclosing your CV, dates when available, and if possible, examples of recent work (non-returnable).

We know that it’s often difficult to supply evidence of experience when you’re applying for a job to build up that experience in the first place! What we look for is evidence that you’re serious about a career in design or journalism.
